If you follow me on Twitter for high school football updates, you may notice a weekly trend.
I often capture a fuzzy iPhone photo before, during, or after the game I’m covering, and Tweet it out with the lone word, “Sports.” I do this purposely.
High school sports, in many ways, have become about the scholarship offer, the Instagram likes on a highlight, the fancy jerseys and the recruiting profile. To me, high school sports are still about the life lessons, about lifelong friendships.
So, I find the most important scene I can capture, and I point and click. Then I share it with you. Simple as that. Hopefully it means something to you.
So, here’s a gallery of some from the past couple years. Enjoy.
